Introduction
Forte dei Marmi which means "Fort of the marbles" is located on the coast of Versilia in the province of Lucca in the Northern part of the beautiful Tuscany. “Forte” is a glorious beachside resort and holiday destination of the wealthy and famous Italians like singer Zucchero, Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli or Giorgio Armani - who has a villa in Forte dei Marmi.
On the weekends in July and the whole of August the beach resort firmly is in Italian hands. Forte is also known for great restaurants like "MADAI" or ristorante "MAITO".
