Introduction
Carved on secluded bay shores, blessed by the sun and lapped by crystal waters, Porto Cervo is making room to receive the biggest number of celebrities in the world at the same time. Summer is peak season for Sardinia, tourists from all over the world pour on its stunning beaches, but it’s in August when jet setters set to join the world famous parties thrown by Flavio Briatore in his club “Billionaire”.
Porto Cervo is not far from Olbia Airport, on Sardinia east coast, but show biz, sports and fashion celebrities usually reach here with their fabulous yachts and dock at Porto Cervo Marina or in some of the nearby secluded lovely bays, where they hide after their appearance in clubs and restaurants.
It is definitely the place to go if you are looking for celebrity sightings, but you’ll have to be ready to pay the extremely expensive price of your stay in glamour hotels and exclusive venues.

Another luxurious destination for fine dining in the heart of Porto Cervo," RESTAURANT PIAZZA DEL PRINCIPE" is located on the upper floor of the bustling Piazza del Principe, right above designer boutiques and posh residential houses; all celebrities are regular here, they love the decadent atmosphere made of oriental carpets and cushions, raw stones walls mixed with formal table settings, mystic white sheets blowing in the winds of Costa Smeralda and the open pane windows overlooking the square; the terrace is less sophisticated, but the menu is still ambitious and features both - a fixed price and a la carte choice, with delicacies from the sea and delicious pasta dishes with truffles toppings or tasty ragu (meat sauce); expensive!

Probably the most famous restaurant in Porto Cervo; when Gianni Pedrinelli moved to Sardinia from Brescia in 1973 to establish his restaurant in Porto Cervo, he chose Golfo del Pevero for its location on the shoulder of the mountain, overlooking the enchanted sandy beach with turquoise waters; after nearly 40 years the restaurant still features a genuine Sardinian and Italian cuisine made of the freshest first quality ingredients on the market and will offer you a peculiar culinary and cultural experience: you will enjoy a mouth watering meal by the suggestive fireplace while admiring the art exhibition hosted in the huge dining room and in the other rooms, with masterpieces from local and international artists; it is no surprise that this is George Clooney’s favorite restaurant; its terrace overlooking the garden is perfect for a magic romantic dinner, lit by candles and the moonlight, a delicate breeze flowing through the curtains, delicacies tasting and prestigious wine sipping; the restaurant is closed during the winter season, it opens its doors in March and closes by the end of October
