"LOETSCHBERG" is a low key restaurant centrally located in Berne; the interior design is 60's - 70's style where the hip meet the politicians as well as the Japanese tourists the focus on food are regional specialities from "Wallis" (Valais) & great fondue served in an lively and "loud" atmosphere; be prepared to wait for a table; perfect for an evening with friends - "LOETSCHBERG" is not a romantic tete-a-tete restaurant; the restaurant is open until late; another newly opened gem and a favorite among the young locals is the newly opened "CAFÉ BAR SATTLER" and its annex "GELATERIA DI BERNA" located in the pedestrian area of Mittelstrasse not far from the main trainstation & the university of Berne; open Monday - Saturday from 7am - Midnight & Sunday from 9am-6pm
