Geneva is located in the Romandie (the French-speaking part of Switzerland) on the beautiful Lake Geneva (Lac Léman). The city lives already the French "savoir vivre" life but with the Swiss closeness; so it isn't surprising that the seven-time Formula One champion Michael Schumacher decided to move with his family on the shores of Lake Geneva. Geneva is also known as a worldwide centre for diplomacy and numerous headquarters of international organisations, including the agencies of the United Nations and the Red Cross.
