Berlin

BERLIN - BEST RESTAURANTS, HIPPEST NIGHTCLUBS & TOP HOTELS

Introduction
Berlin is reborn and a galvanic force in European and world affairs. The capital of Germany is cool, creative, inexpensive, full of energy and of exeptional landmarks like the Brandenburger Gate, the Victory Column, Checkpoint Charlie, Alexanderplatz, Bellevue Palace, the Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe, the metal-and-glass Reichstag and the neue Nationalgalerie. But at the same time, a legendary haven for those that dare to explore the afterdark and a vibrant culinary scene. Visitors in the mass come to savour the intoxicating mix of the old and the new. Locals generally have that laid-back "I'm-a-Bernalista" attitude so rather leave the buttoned shirt and razor at home, and bring your trendiest scarf. Favourite note: there are no closing hours by law which means you need to carry your sunglasses at all times. Flying in the face of stuffy German stereotypes, famously liberal and fun-loving Berlin has long been a magnet for pleasure-seekers. Berlin ist the real city that never sleeps.
